GL 2 - Community Services

TO ALL DISTRICT AND LOCAL LODGE PRESIDENTS,
RECORDING SECRETARIES, DBRs, GLRs, COMMUNICATORS,
EDUCATORS, AIRLINE GCs, and RAILROAD GCs

We have scheduled a one-week Training Session at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center. Our session consists of two separate classes, Community Services and Employee Assistance Program.

The Community Services and Employee Assistance Training Session will begin with Orientation for the entire group Sunday evening November 16, 2003, and an agenda for the remainder of the week will be mailed to you after you have been confirmed as a participant. The training will conclude on Friday morning November 21, 2003. Both segments will have material of importance and value in establishing or strengthening a Community Services Committee or an Employee Assistance Program in you Lodge.

Any member selected by your lodge to attend either one of these sessions should be prepared to travel and arrive on Saturday, November 15, 2003, if travel is by airlines. All participants must be at the Winpisinger Center no later than 4:00 p.m. Sunday November 16, 2003.

For detailed information and instructions on the above class, attend the local lodge meeting. Make sure you understand the requirements in our current by-laws Article XV, Section 2. Or check with your lodge officers for any requirements to attend classes at the Winpisinger Center.
