Ronald J. Sidie, member since October 1, 1984, died in an automobile accident on his way to work at Wilson Trailer early Friday morning. The obituary from the SC Journal is listed below.
Ronald James Sidie, 58, of Sioux City died Friday, Nov. 7, 2003, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery in Lawton, Iowa. Visitation will be 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

James L. Jessen, a member since January of 1971 [and employed at Wilson Trailer since April of 1970], died in a 6:30 AM accident, November 11, 2003, on Highway 35 in Nebraska. Below is the news script from KMEG's reporting of the accident.

"A HUBBARD MAN DIED IN A 3-VEHICLE CRASH NEAR DAKOTA CITY THIS MORNING.
THE NEBRASKA STATE PATROL SAYS THE VICTIM IS 52-YEAR-OLD JAMES JESSEN.
THE ACCIDENT HAPPENED AT THE INTERSECTION OF NEBRASKA HIGHWAYS 35 AND 110.ABOUT 6:30 THIS MORNING.
INVESTIGATORS SAY JESSEN'S PICKUP WAS REAR-ENDED BY A SEMI-TRAILER, PUSHING THE PICKUP INTO THE PATH OF A SNACK DELIVERY TRUCK.
THE ACCIDENT CLOSED THAT INTERSECTION UNTIL 1 O'CLOCK THIS AFTERNOON."

Wilson Trailer member, Eric Waldon has won a 2nd place award in the 2002 IAM Photography Contest. The photo (above) appears in the 2003 IAM Calendar for the month of February. He also received a prize check for $300.00.

Eric has been a member from Wilson Trailer for the last 6-1/2 years. The picture is of member Jason Delaroi air arc welding on a Wilson livestock trailer. This is not only a personal honor for Brother Waldon, but it is also an honor for Siouxland Lodge No. 1426. The memberships congratulations goes out to Brother Waldon.
