Below is a note from Dave. In the short time he was the business rep. he gained a lot of respect and admiration from not only the members of Lodge 1426 but from the members of District 7 in Iowa and Nebraska. Hi all, This Monday I start working full time for the Omaha Federation of Labor. I'm glad that I'll be able to continue working in the labor field. This gives me opportunity to continue working with at least some of the members I had established close ties with. On a side note, I ran into one of the plant superintendents of a company I represented as a Business Rep. I told him I haven't even been able to get a job in a meat packing plant and it appears that I've been blackballed in Sioux City. He said that the word got around fast and that I was definitely blackballed in Sioux City. He even said he'd kiss my ass if I was able to get a job in Sioux City. I'll wear that as a badge of honor. I must of been doing something right as a business rep to make so many employers afraid to hire me. YEEEE HAAAAA! In Solidarity, Dave. A personal note from this web guy:
Best Wishes (back to Notable Members of Siouxland Lodge 1426)
